Timeless Play in Petal Basin
In this captivating fountain, a petal-shaped basin with eight petals welcomes three young Naiads, symbols of beauty and insouciance.
Each of them holds a small shell-shaped vessel, striving to catch the gushing water.
This water, springing from a hollow proud penis inclined towards the center of the basin, represents the passage of time.
The Naiads playfully attempt to grasp time, but like the water, it slips through their fingers, elusive.
This artwork embodies nature, symbolized by the floral basin, and the ephemeral beauty of youth and the present moment.
It is a tribute to the joy and lightness of existence while reminding us of the fleeting nature of time as it flows.
