Winged Phallic Pendant (Roman and Greek)
Discover this artistic pendant inspired by both Roman and Greek archeology.
This object, found abundantly throughout the Roman and Greek Empires, represents a male symbol in erection, equipped with a pair of wings.
The realistic and detailed pendant is perfect for adding a touch of historical authenticity to your scenes in Daz3D or similar software.
In ancient Rome and Greece, these pendants, known as Fascinus, were used as apotropaic amulets to ward off the evil eye and protect against negative influences.
People, regardless of gender or social status, wore these amulets for protection.
Fascinus symbols could be found in various forms, including jewelery, oil lamps, and tintinnabula (bells).
I propose 5 versions, one without a ring, and the other 4 with a ring or a hole allowing the pendant to be oriented in 4 different ways.
The proposed texture is that of ancient gold.
