Our recent poll asked: Is there enough government regulation on AI? Of 925 respondents (poll closed June 6, 2025), 67.5% said there should be more regulation, 14.4% said regulation is adequate, 5.5% said there should be less, and 12.6% said there should be no regulation at all.

- Expect baseline duties to rise: documentation, safety testing, model cards, and supply-chain controls for data and components.
- Align to emerging norms: NIST-style risk management, robust red-teaming, and incident response will increasingly be table stakes.
- Prepare for fragmentation: If you operate globally, design for the strictest plausible regime (e.g., EU-style transparency and risk controls) to avoid rework.

The next year will be about turning that common ground into durable, testable rules-and doing it fast enough to matter without freezing whats best about this technology.
