VCMC Dagger Outfit for DAZ G8.X Female
- VCMC- stands for - Van Causam Motorcycle Club- . The - Dagger- part is a reference to the spike heels and sharp lapels. This leather jacket, pant and heels set is meant to give an upscale impression of a biker chick. Think of a wealthy heiress pretending to ride Harleys and you'll get it. I thought this would be a fun angle to play, and this outfit is the result.
While all of the textures are leather, I've included some color combinations that reek of old money on Madison Avenue. Or at least what MY idea of that might be. They are conservative but attention grabbing. This won't satisfy everyone however, so there is a way to change the color to anything you might want to satisfy your wild side, and we'll get into that below.
Basics
VCMC consists of three parts: a jacket, leather pants, and a simple pair of spike heels. These can be loaded as a wearable preset outfit, or individually. I've tried to keep this outfit simple and yet sophisticated in its behavior. This top has working pockets into which you can fit your character's hand, a cell phone, a pistol, a knife, or some other piece of gear as you see fit.
Morphs
Jacket:
The morphs here are pocket morphs to bulge them out, one for each side, and a morph to move the pocket area forward as if a hand is inside it and the character is standing casually. There is a cleavage adjustment morph for breasts larger than standard G8, and a hip adjustment morph to make room for the pants or for any other asset you may wish to load onto the character such as a skirt.
Pants:
Only two morphs, a standard - Thickness- morph and a labia room morph. Because these pants are super conforming as you might expect of leather britches, this latter morph was necessary to prevent any poke through from ruining the fit.
There are no morphs for the shoes besides the standard - Thickness- .
Dforce
Jacket:
This jacket was constructed fit realistically around a character's waist and breasts, and to pull at the buttons just enough to give a nice look, much as the Van Causam buttoned shirt. The goal once again was to make this asset as simple to use and as sophisticated in its behavior as possible, so there is only one dForce setting. It works very very well if the simulation is set up with the cleavage and waist morphs beforehand. In fact this is crucial for a successful outcome. It isn't complicated either. Simply dial up the cleavage adjustment until the lapels don't touch, adjust the waist as necessary, and hit - Simulate- . The product takes it from there and you'll be pleased with the result.
Pants:
Simple. Just run the sim, you'll have no problems unless you're practically trying to break the product with some extreme pose. :)
Materials
Besides the Brown, Black and White leather materials, I have included a - Lilac Leather- preset. This is an entry point for the user to easily create any color at all on the color wheel for these assets. To do this simply change the Base Color on the Lilac preset for the given surface. It's that easy. The texture will take care of the rest for you.
