World Map Nixie Clock
UPDATE 26/5/2023: I've done a major refactor of the main file, and the file size and loading time have been reduced by roughly 90%. Material presets have also been added. Delete the original "Set Nixie Hours" folder as it's no longer needed.
A follow-up to my World Map Clock sets, this time with Nixie tubes. For use with DAZ Studio 4 with iRay.
The objects have been grouped for easier positioning and resizing. All time zones have changeable hours and minutes by way of sub-folders, though the minute counters are all the same to keep things simple. The file is much bigger than the previous sets (about 96MB), as the Nixie tubes have a lot more polygons than flip or LED displays - and that's after using instancing to reduce poly count. There are also variations of the map with different color schemes, including the one from the previous set.
modeled in Blender & rendered in DS iRay 4.21. Thanks to mCasual's Labelizer utility & Biozz @ Blendswap for the Nixie tube model.
