Fixing DAZ3D Pokethrough After Rendering WITHOUT Adobe
When you are starting out with Daz3d, one of the GREATEST woes of using this software is spending HOURS of time waiting for your 3d scene to roster, and then what happens? When you look at the render results, you have this pokethrough that you did not see during the render preview.
This easily has to be one THE most annoying things a Daz3d artist has to deal with. You check and double check the render preview if there are any signs of pokeage and everything checks out. Sometimes, even using a push modifier or adjusting collision iterations does not work, and hiding a part of the mesh makes other parts of the body invisible that the clothing does not cover.
Well, thankfully, there IS a solution, and a quickfix that does not require you to spend a penny. Yep, no need to use Adobe, depending on the nature of the clothing.
If you are using solid clothing, or love using solid black, this is the GO-TO hack that will save you tons of time going back to render. If you are new to Daz3d, also make sure to understand what a push modifier is, and what it does. Setting it to 0.01-0.06 will give you pretty decent results. I might send out another tutorial on where to find it, and how to use it.
