A simple DAZ|Studio prop consisting of a beveled rectangular box, containing a smaller inner box, with Iray materials that give it an interesting "lit from within" effect, suitable for SF or Fantasy environments. The prop includes a morph to control the depth of the inner surface, which in turn will affect the appearance of the inner glow. The slab is proportioned the same as a typical medical examination or autopsy table. Enjoy :)
NB: Be aware that the glow effect is obtained by the Subsurface Scattering and Refraction render features, and these take extra time to render; also, the SSS feature is dependent upon exact measurements of distance, so if you scale the prop in various ways, the materials will behave differently, e.g. if you make the prop larger, the glow will become dimmer, because the distance between inner and outer surfaces will increase.
