MeshWorks3d Product Promotions

For a limited time, the MeshWorks3d vintage products are available as free downloads. Most of these items are 10+ years old and have been available at various marketplaces. Although now considered 'legacy' content, they will still load in both Poser and Daz Studio with no issues. None of the MeshWorks products are figure dependent with the exception of the few Pose Packs also for 'legacy' figures (aka Gen3 and Gen4).
The purpose of doing this 'product promotion' is for the current generation of 3D artists to realize that older, high quality content, is still available and usable in the latest iterations of the animation/render software. Props, scenes and environments DO NOT have a shelf-life unlike figure related content (clothing, skins, morphs, etc). The original Metacreations Poser file formats (cr2, pp2, hr2, pz2) still load and render as they were intended.
Legacy does NOT mean dead.
Many legacy products/freebies do not utilize any of the modern shaders or material setting. But they are blank slates and most will gladly accept newer rendering tweaks (vray, firefly, etc). As an added benefit of the older content, they were designed to be low overhead and easy on system resources. Created at a time when 8mb video ram was considered top of the line and zip files were typically under 25 megs. Products were leaner and better refined, because they had to be.
Take a moment and try out the legacy sample items from my store. You will find they load quickly, easy on system resources and more then ready for material and shader tweeks. It is important that you review the enclosed Readme file for usage tips and tricks. Many of the MeshWorks3d Readme's are in simple html format and can be viewed in any browser, even when offline.
