Renders and poses

How many renders and poses of the final outcome can be submitted? Can multiple poses of the character and garment be submitted or is it just one main render? Is it one main render, or the "Hero" render with accompanying renders?
I'm creating a garment that can be posed in a few different ways, but I can work with just the one pose if that's the case.
Cheers.

Just make sure you follow the explicit instructions for the Main image
and use the remaining slots provided for your WIP wireframe shots in your modeling program and any other image/poses and there is one slot for a video as well

Thu, Jun 19Ok sounds good, I'll have to get creative on my posing which isn't a bad thing
One final submission of your costume, with a raw render without post-work.
Any other supporting renders showing your morphs or poses but remember only the costume will be judged.
Morphs are part of the outfit so be sure to include images as it's a big feature
Your wip images and wire frame of the final render is also needed. Any supporting video's production images are also good if you wish to put those up to show your progress.
As long as you have the deliverables listed from the even rules your good but you can post more wips if you want.

Hello admins.
On the heels of the OP's question, I have a few things I'm wondering about as well:
1. Is the "main image" the one that will be displayed as the thumbnail in the contest gallery?
2. Will any additional images added via the comments section still be considered equally as part of the judging, or will the panel primarily look at the original 7 uploads?
3. If you have a sequence of renders showing the outfit from different angles or poses, kind of like a visual story where the images need to be viewed in order, but the set goes beyond 7 images, how should that be handled?
4. Are WIP images required to be included in the main 7 image slots, or can they be posted separately in the comments section instead?
Thanks!

Sun, Jul 13Yes, the thumbnail created from the main image will be used in the contest gallery.

Yes, all images submitted by the artist will be considered by the judges. It doesn't matter if they are the initial seven or additional images uploaded as comments. The same goes for the WIP images.

Sun, Jul 13Thank you for your response admin,
Just to follow up, I noticed there's a slot for a video clip in addition to the 7 main image uploads for the contest.
I'm not planning to submit an animation or anything like that, but I was wondering: would it be acceptable to present my WIP as a video instead of using still images? I think it might be a more efficient way to show my process and design iterations, especially conveying how things evolved over time. I'll keep the duration within 2 minutes, maybe less.
Just want to make sure that's within the rules.

Sun, Jul 13The rules do specifically state "All WIP and final renders" and "Viewport screenshots showing work-in-progress"...
With that said, to be safe, I would not substitute a video *instead of* still images. But *in addition to* would be just fine.

Mon, Jul 14Good to know, glad I asked. I appreciate you pointing that out, thanks again for the heads-up.
Renders are the final, polished images of your 3D modelshowing lighting, textures, and realism. Poses, on the other hand, are about how your model or character is positioned to convey movement, mood, or function. Both are important: renders highlight quality, while poses bring life to the design.
