DAZ users - which clothing morphs do you actually use or wish you had?
93Hi everyone!
Im a clothing creator for DAZ Studio and Id really like to make my outfits more useful and enjoyable for you.
I often spend a lot of time adding morphs, but Im not always sure which ones people actually use or which ones they wish existed!
So Id like to hear your opinions:
Which morphs do you use the most? (for example: fit morphs, undress morphs, length variations, pose fixes, etc.)
Are there any morphs you wish more clothes had?
What kind of clothing do you usually buy or use (Skirts, dresses, tops, pants, shorts.)?
Your feedback will really help us create clothing that fits your needs better and maybe even inspire some new ideas for future products!
Thanks a lot for your time and input

Good question.
Off the top of my head sitting morphs are really useful. To sit at a table or on a wall as an example.
Smooth or adjust for things like armpits , crotch so it looks more natural. I will try think of a few more.

Tue, Oct 21, 2025Thanks a lot — that’s a great point!
Sitting morphs are definitely useful, especially for poses like sitting at a table or on a wall.
I guess dForce could help with that in many cases, but it’s good to know that people still appreciate having specific sitting adjustments built in.
And yes, smoothing or small fit tweaks around areas like armpits or the crotch can make a big difference in realism.
If you (or anyone else) has examples of favorite morphs from other outfits that you find really useful.

Tue, Oct 21, 2025I have seen a few items that have start morphs and deforce for final drape. It may be a little more work on your part but defiantly make it a better product to have a combination of the two.
Hair products seem to be doing this a lot now and it works great for complex poses at the same time as making a better drape.

An interesting idea for pure morphs (without dForce) could be: a buttoned shirt/blouse/etc. that, for larger bust sizes (f/m), opens between the buttons.
When dForce is involved, I like to work with pre-simulation morphs. This is also a very interesting field, as it allows you to simulate clothing slippage. Here is an example: https://www.renderhub.com/gallery/76070/flx-longsleeves-wip-1
Of course, these pre-simulation morphs also work for clothing below the belly button. Take a look at the SlipSlip tutorials here on Renderhub by PasahRi (gallery , adult).
