[Suggestion] A journal or announcement feature for vendors
81It would be nice to have a feature that allows vendors to provide updates to followers about products, upcoming sales, etc. without having to post to forums. As much as I hate using DeviantArt as an example they do have the option for people to post updates on their profiles for watchers to see. People who follow our content could get notifications from our posts without others who aren't interested in our work having to see the posts on the forum.

When you go to 'My Messages' it shows you updates from vendors you've bought from.
That works well for me.

Thu, Feb 05I meant more like blog post style updates for easier communication with people that follow your content rather than updated product notifications
Oh yes, that is a wonderful idea. I actually suggested something quite similar myself. In the meantime, I maintain a thread dedicated solely to support, where I share every update I am working on for my existing products. On the products page, I also include a link to that forum thread.

There is already an open feature request for this, along with changelog functionality on individual product pages. However, I don't have a status on when or if this might be implemented.
In the feature request, I added a link to this forum thread. Feel free to add additional feedback or support for this feature here.

We really miss this feature; a new forum could be a solution, with the specific feature that the last posted message would be at the top of the page and not at the bottom as is currently the case in the forums.

That would be pretty cool. A good feature for that section, allow creation of polls.
"Brainstorming for my next project, what kind of scene would you like to see in the store?
A)Realistic Modern Sceneries
B)Realistic Sci-Fi Sceneries
C)Fantasy Sceneries"
Something like that would be pretty cool to see. Maybe have it set up so that it acts like a personal section of a forum, where the owner can create their own subforums, that might be a bit too much of an ask though lol. I have no idea how hard that would be to implement on the software that runs the forums.
