An interesting and long series of videos on interactive graphics
35I stumbled upon this by accident and found this interesting enough to pass on. University of Utah's Cem Yuksel has a very long lecture series on interactive graphics, covering all those fun, fun shading terms like specular occlusion, ambient lighting and ambient occlusion, difference between normal map and bump maps and why normal maps use the colors they use.
I've found it very interesting for those who want a real deep dive on it from a 3d render perspective and not a science journal or wikipedia entry perspective.
