Creating Backdrops (CLOSED)
1,603I'm trying to create my first pack of backdrops and lighting. I got the hang of making a backdrop in Blender but, since you have to extrude the edge in Blender it distorts the texture being used on the backdrop. Does anyone know how I can make these and not have that happen?
Hope I make sense....

Sounds like you may need to edit your UV map. Do you have any images showing the problem you're having? I'm sure someone here will be able to help you figure this out. There are a lot of Blender gurus here.

Yea, sounds like the UV is getting messed up, also make sure.
You also may need to apply size and rotation... in blender 2.7x: CTRL+A then click Rotation & Scale
This resets the rotation and scale, preventing weird distortion.
Then you may also need to reset your UV map, you might be able to get away with doing a U then U in Edit mode to unwrap the UV
