Crumbling (CLOSED)

I'm kicking myself a little for having not started on my contest entry until this past weekend. I got the email from RenderHub at the beginning of the month, didn't really think I would try, then changed my mind late lol. DAZ Genesis 8, rendered in Blender, postprocessed in GIMP. I realized tonight, final rendering, that I chose a tough scene to render, as there is still some noise on her skin where it's shadowed. I used 5,000 Max Samples and a slight addition of Fast GI Approximation to reduce the noise. I suppose I could go to 10,000 samples, but that might be getting ridiculous, and you'd think 5,000 would do it. I absolutely feel like a "tourist with a typewriter" (OK, keyboard and mouse) with graffiti as a subject, but it was fun. I pop punked the color scheme, literally eyedropped it off of the cover of zebrahead's III EP.

Very cool. The lighting sets a nice mood, and I love the POV with the paint cans right there.
Great job! Thanks for participating in the contest.

Thanks! True to my username, I rendered again, and I was able to remove the noise in the shadows, particularly on her skin. I just needed to reduce the noise threshold setting. Silly me.
