MECHANIC GIRL (CLOSED)

Hello RenderHub community,
I am glad that I have submitted my entry at last. I was thinking for quite some time about my submission, is it good enough or not. Because when I completed my images, I understood that I am not satisfied how everything turned out in the end. It took me a couple of days to decide to submit my entry. And here I am now!
ARTWORK NAME: MECHANIC GIRL
FINAL RENDER:

CLAY RENDER:

STORY:
In the distant future, where robots had become an integral part of society, a female robot named Freya worked as a mechanic for maintaining the large machines that powered the city. Freya was designed to be strong, efficient, and reliable, and her skills were essential for keeping the machines running smoothly.
Despite her usefulness, Freya often felt the weight of human mistreatment. Many humans saw robots as nothing more than tools to be used and abused, and Freya had seen her fair share of mistreatment. Despite the cruelty she had experienced, Freya remained committed to her work and...
It's up to you guys to finish the story and write what happens next!
I hope you read that short story above that I prepared for you. Through this artwork I wanted to show that we must stay strong and true to ourselves no matter how hard time and environment around us is. And I just happen to choose robots as the subject of this story, because the Age of Robots/AI is around the corner and we don't know what awaits us. So we must be careful!
ADDITIONAL RENDERS:

WORK IN PROGRESS:
This section of the submission is where I show some additional renders and technical details.
CREATION TIME: 4 WEEKS
TOOLS: Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, V-ray, Substance Painter, Photoshop
TECHNICAL EXPLANATION:
The final scene was assembled and rendered in Autodesk Maya using V-ray render engine. Throughout the process of modeling I was mostly switching from Maya and Zbrush, using modeling and sculpting tools of both packages.
All textures have been done in Substance Painter using procedural textures/masks and doing some hand painting details.
For final materials look inside Autodesk Maya, I used different shader setups: VrayNextHair for hair material, VrayAiSurface for skin material, VrayFastSSS2 for eyes material and VrayStandard for all other materials.
And for the final composition, I used Photoshop to make some minor adjustment and color grading.
Down below you can see technical explanation of lights in my final scene:

OTHER ASSETS AND TOOLS:

I would apreciate every comment and feedback from you guys!
I hope you enjoyed the content that I have created and hope to see you guys soon in some future contests!
LONG LIVE RENDERHUB COMMUNITY!

Freya remained committed to her work and would work on a plan to bring awareness to those who didn't understand, in the hope that humans would treat them with the respect they deserved.
There were some humans who treated robots as they would a human. The ones who treated them as machines were far to many......
Fantastic work Fira
I realy admire those who create their own work
There's always something we can change or want to fix. But due to time restrictions not always possible.
I personaly work on something until I've had enough of working on it then post.
Also helps to have a second opinion.
I ask the people at my work for their assessment. Very helpful
The way I like to view it is, every render, every creation is but a stroke on a piece of canvas that creates a bigger picture.
She's a hot mechanic and I probably wouldn't get any work done lol
Love the details on the mechanical legs and arms. Love the ponytail hair nice. Toolkit and wrench nicely done.
Fantastic work on Freya's creation.
Absalutley loved the story
Good luck with your entry
Thank you for more inspiration to create.
Well done

Sat, Apr 01, 2023Thank you very much for your freedback!
I am glad that you liked the story and actually participated in finishing the story. That was my intention to kind of connect other people with my work.
Yes that is so true there is always something we can change and fix, so that's why I decided to submit my entry in the end. Even though I was not satisfied how it all turned out.
Thank you for the support and I am glad that my work was an inspiration for you in some way
