Omens Returning (CLOSED)

Hey everyone!
Saw the notification pop up in my mail a while back and figured I would finally dip my toes here and submit an entry for once. It was a rather challenging endeavor, but super fun nonetheless. The software I used was Daz3D for initial rendering as well as separate elements for later detailing. Blender for a rough concept and lighting mockup. Final compositioning and piecing together were done in Photoshop.

Good take on the story of Don Quixote. This time he has to take on dragons as his opponents beside the giant windmills in his vision.
Well done scenery and best wishes with your work.

Fri, Mar 15, 2024Thank you kindly! And while I'm familiar with the story, this one was prompted by a setting me and my friends devised for our DnD session
. And glad to see it shows. Meshing the grass by hand was absolute hell to deal with haha.

Fri, Mar 15, 2024I thought the fallen dragon skeleton's left wing looked like a windmill, with flag line attached and thought this was a traditional windmill sail structure. But I understand now what you intended as looking over. Thanks for your feedback.
