Have you tried to delete the file through command prompt? I fixed a friends pc by force deleting via command prompt. You may have to enter safe mode.
It's also worth trying shift delete . it may be the recycle bin claiming ownership of the file that stops you deleting it..

It's a completely stupid OS...
I have 2 screens a graphics tablet, my main screen is the one on the right, well it launches the programs on the graphics tablet...
For example, when you replace the Daz content thumbnails with custom thumbnails, well it doesn't refresh the file... the new thumbnails are last in the file, you have to force the file to refresh so the images are put back in alphabetical order XD
Copy / paste content, it does it in 1 second then at 99% it sometimes waits for 1 minute... (although I have an Nvme 990 pro ssd)
I regret the stability of the 10

I know you’ve released some G9 stuff and I love and purchased most of the G9 stuff but there are some G8 items that I would love to have for G9. I know I can use the clothing converter but I would rather purchase first party versions. I understand it can be a pain. That’s why I’m asking. Thanks for providing great products!

Some projections from G8F to G9 can create problems at the pelvis level, that's why I avoid conversions.
It's possible that I make G9 versions of the most popular G8f articles

I just wanted to let you know that since you did some updates, the license for 'Infinite Competition Swimsuit' has changed:

Was that intentional? It was on my list of stuff to buy but unless that's a mistake I'll no longer be able to buy it because it's a 'Personal Use Only' license now. I can see that if purchased in the bundle then it still has an 'Extended Use License' so that makes me think you might not be aware of the license change.

Also, thanks for the Christmas Socks, I just saw them, but I don't think you realise that you cannot prevent others from making textures for it (free or paid). Even the mega-corporations out there with IP like Wonder Woman can't do that. If I were to create some textures for a Wonder Woman mesh for example, there's nothing anyone can do to stop me because my own textures would be my own work to do with as I wish.
I don't intend to make textures for it, but I just thought I should point it out because it's the first time I ever saw such a restriction.

I'm puzzled why you would want to kill extra sales of your own products though. I mean if someone created a texture add-on for one of your products, then surely (regardless of whether it's free or paid) it would lead to you selling another copy of your product, because without your product the customer would not be able to make use of the texture add-on - so it's very puzzling why you would want to do that!
Anyway, just so you know, I do intend to re-texture the 'Infinite Competition Swimsuit' because I plan to use it as a Superheroine costume, but that's only for use in some comics/comix that I have in mind for the fufure.

You really need to do a pair of dedicated SuperHero/SuperHeroine suits! It was actually pretty hard to choose which of your products to use, because ideally I need:
- Full-length arms and hands covered
- Full-length legs and feet covered
- Collar that covers the neck
- Smoothing control (stretch effect) for the buttock gap
- Smoothing control (stretch effect) for the breast gap
- No geometry-based seams or detailing AT ALL (use only Normal Maps for this so that we can design our own seams and other details etc).
You do have various products that meet these design requirements, but sadly not all in a single product. In other words, I need a very clean, simple, blank canvas of a design with these design features so that its versatility comes from its simplicity.
So if you ever find yourself wondering what to do next, it would be great to see you do a pair of G8 Female and Male compatible garments that have these SuperHero/SuperHeroine design features. It's something I planned to do myself, but since you're so skilled at this this type of stuff I'd much rather see them come from you. The Infinite Space Suit is another I plan to buy for the same reason, but again, the collar doesn't cover the neck, and the hands and feet are not covered either, so it's not ideal

It's sexy and I like that a lot, but we also need to be able to adjust (with a morph) so that it is more rounded off and stratchy looking between the legs, sort of like a rounded-off corner.
And in an A-Pose, for example, adjusting the smoothness (stretch effect) of the under-arms would allow us to go from a very clingy to stretchy look so that the armpits don't cling directly to the body if we don't want them to. I'm sure you know what I'm getting at and these features would be great to have!
It feels pretty much essential to have these features in a SuperHero/SuperHeroine suit unless a oerson is prepared to use dForce for it. I planned to create such a pair of garments myself because I don't see any that are suitable on the Marketplace. But I'd much rather you do it instead if you were to like the idea, and this stuff is your area of expertise after all!

Sun, Jan 12, 2025Hey V8, I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorted for this now so please don't make a start on it due to my request. If you still want to make one that's great but I don't need it myself since I just discovered the beauty of using dForce on Genesis 9 and will make one exactly how I need it.
The more evenly-sized polygons of Genesis 9 makes using dForce a pleasure to work with because there's no air bubbles!
I reckon those air bubbles were caused by the wildly varying polygon sizes of the figure itself, and Genesis 8 is absolute chaos compared to Genesis 9 in that sense. Genesis 9.and dForce work pretty damn well together. I've been at it all day today and haven't had a single issue with air bubbles!
I think you're going to really enjoy creating for Genensis 9 when you start porting your designs over to Genesis 9.

As you say, the topology is also more uniform, which is also what people talk about a lot, especially the chest to name one...
After being careful with G9, I've already had some really bad turns, projection that creates a "ridge" right in the middle of the back... Impossible to catch up with such a big bump, I still don't understand...
G9 is tricky, in Zbrush it can be fun, but back in Daz, it's a surprise at times... XD
So much the better if you have fun with it, sometimes you have to try a lot of things before finding what you want.

Wed, Feb 19, 2025The clothing is a regular clothing. Apply it to your character and then apply the holey textures/colors. The holey style is not a standalone clothing, it's just a texture.

Are there any errors displayed on the screen when you click on the garment?
If the garment doesn't work, an error message should appear with a corrupted or missing /data or /Runtime path.
If you can, please provide me with the log of the Daz session with an attempt to load the garment. (Top panel "Help" / "Troubleshooting" / "View Log Files...").
You can redownload the garment from the product page; it's the one I retested and is certified bug-free.

Furthermore, the pink color doesn't use a Base Color image but selects its color from the color wheel while keeping the other base textures.
The error says it simply can't find the .duf (pink hierarchical materials) in the People folder.
1) Close Daz to purge.
2) Re-upload the folder from Renderhub cleanly.
3) Unzip it and discard the files (data / People / Runtime) in the "My Daz Library" folder.
4) Restart Daz, load the G9.
5) Select G9 and apply the "Stockings Essential" stockings (not one of the colors!)
6) The stockings are related to G9; you can choose the color either by selecting the stockings or by selecting G9.
(ps: When you put the "data/People/Runtime" files in the "My Daz Library" folder, don't mess around or sort through them; just throw them away; the access paths will be set automatically.)
I think the pink color was found somewhere in the library, I don't know where XD

Need help with the 80's Tonic Outfit.
Not attached to the G8 or 8.1 Female figure, I can adjust the leotard and tights. However after putting them on the figure, the controls disappear!
Are there any plans to address this issue?

I thought I'd drop a note mainly to say thanks for your brilliant clothing items. They're always superb quality and aesthetically beautiful too. I'm a huge fan since discovering your Renderhub selection relatively recently.
I have one (silly) question... what does "strass" mean? I see several of your products with this label, and it's the first time I've ever seen this word used in relation to clothing items. I googled it and found references to rhinestones and "glassy" - so is this a way to describe a highly glossy material? As I say, you seem to be unique in selecting this word to label your items!

Ik heb het geprobeerd zoals anderen kleding stukken maar bij deze zegt hij nu dat hij de stukken niet kan vinden. I have no idea what their criteria/rules are for selling or how good a marketplace it is for artists, but if it's favourable, then I'd encourage you to get your assets up for sale there too. Once you get back to work I'd like to ask nicely for some traditional full fashioned stockings with Cuban heels, seams and the dark toe box (I don't know if that has a name). It's not like I have a huge, massive, gargantuan and not-at-all-obsessive fetish for that sort of thing, I just thought I'd ask in passing. It would be nice if you didn't forget us G8 users too.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that they aren't self-supporting; these types of stockings require a garter belt to hold them up.
I'm not a big fan of 3D garter belts. This type of garment tends to deform depending on the pose and isn't at all aesthetic, especially at the thigh/torso and thigh/buttock junctions, whereas a real garter belt will "pull" and not soften like in 3D. This type of article won't work in D-Force as it's quite detailed.
The solution is to do as some brands do, revisiting the classic by offering it in a self-adhesive version, a bit like these : https://www.renderhub.com/v8infinite/v8-stockings-for-g8f-g8-1f-and-g9

For me, stockings and garter belts go together. I consider tights and pantyhose to be an abomination although I will admit to wearing tights under my winter wind-breakers when cycling in the winter. My record is -23C and I was perfectly warm and cozy.

The extensive network of snowmobile trails are groomed which packs them quite hard. Some days, if it's not windy or cloudy, it can be quite pleasant in the woods. I pack snacks and carry a thermos of warm kombucha.

However, I HAVE to keep in shape because I'm getting older and gyms suck and smell of farts and other stinky people. The people who go to gyms really need to be there so they're old and ugly and fat and smell. At least the outside is not stinky and I don't have to look at ugly people because all the clothes hide their cellulite. There's others out on their bikes and we frequently meet up as we ride on our way to that great bakery in Keswick Landing. I'll get some double chocolate dipped chocolate slabs with chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles.
Exercising in winter is like hitting yourself in the genitals with a hammer.....it feels so good when you stop.
By the way, that comic is hilarious. Watch God's tech support....

What impressed me is the short animation you added that was made in AI. It's excellent, and perfectly illustrates what I've always hoped AI would become, an aid to rendering. I'll bet it took a lot less time and GPU 'grunt' that that joke called dFarce.
Just the other day I found an animation on a Tumblr blog that used one of my original scans from a vintage fashion catalogue. It was also excellent and I got such a charge out of seeing one of those great old catalogue pictures brought to life. I've been chatting with the gent who made it and am now sending him a few others to do.

Hybrid use will be the norm in the short term: classic 3D rendering and animation/retouching/post-production/variations via AI. This will exponentially increase the possibilities.
