Story?:
Maybe in the future,
maybe in the past.
Maybe a hero or a villain.
Or maybe more than both.
AbstracT is the next level of abstraction,
of something unimaginable real.

Sometimes exist, sometimes not.
Always and Never.
When you be real close you will find that:
"Think, it won't be.
See, it will change.
Dream, It is."
AbstracT

Note: This is for concept art only, the final product will be different.

Before start, I want to thank you RenderHub for making this type of contest to foment creativity and dare 3d artists to do their best works.
All my work is based on the next phrase:
" True applied knowledge is demonstrated in the
simplest things.
The easier it is to reach a specific result, the more you will
show that you have learned.
Simplicity is not easy, it is a real challenge to
achieve it, but it is possible,
and the result will be small but huge. "

Thanks

Part 1:  Character Creation
Blender 2.83

Blender 2.83
- Enabled the MB-Lab addon in Blender: Choose the properties that you want. In this case, I will use a Caucasian Male model and add some studio lights.

- Character Sculpt: Use the mirror on the sculpt mode to have symmetry. Use the smooth brush to decrease some unnecessary details and the grab brush to sculpt as you want.

- In the next steps, we will continue with the sculpting process and add textures on the Shader Mode with help of Edit Mode.

Welcome to the contest!
Cool story, and the concept looks interesting.
Thanks for participating, and for the nice WIPs with walk-though. Very nice.

 (Layout Mode- Material Properties)
- Create new materials: Go to Edit Mode and press the plus button on the materials properties panel.
-We are going to create two materials (for now): Body and Transparent.
-Select all the faces you want and click "Assign" on the material properties.
-Press Ctrl+I to invert the selection and repeat the process before for the other material.

Part 3: Shading Mode
TRANSPARENT

TRANSPARENT
- Transparent Material:  Go to the Shading Mode - Add a Transparent Node - Connect it to "Surface" (Output) - You can add a Color Ramp for better control (optional).
IMPORTANT: Change the Blend Mode to Alpha Blend on the Material Properties for the transparent result.

- Additional Details: Select an image texture (Blender has a noise texture by default) and connect it to a Vector Bump. As a result, you will have some interesting elevations.
You can play with nodes. Combine the Shaders by adding a Mix Shader and see the magic happen.
- Next: Body Material ...

Part 3: Shading Mode
BODY
BODY
- Body Material: Go to Shading mode and play with the different nodes and image textures that Blender gives you.
- Recommendation: Do the material as simple as you can but with some level of complexity to not saturate the model
! REPORT
Part 4: Complement
- Smooth
Body Material: Go to edit mode, select the body material parts.Press "P" to separate them.
(Do the same with the eyes)
- New Body Mesh: Add a
 solidify with a subdivision modifier.
 Next: Create awesome material shaders...
 The Tutorial is Complete...
 It all depends on you...

WOW - Totally cool and the name is very fitting. Great job!
Thanks for participating, and for providing all of the WIPs so we could see all the stuff going on.
Thank you, also, for the very kind words. It has been fun to follow along with your project.
I'm just the contest host and won't be judging, so best of luck to you. And stay tuned for more contests to come with other themes.
Have a great weekend!

Really, Thank
you.
It is a pleasure for me to be part
of this amazing contest. As an artist, it's grateful to know some people are
interested in what you do and believe...what you create, what you do, what you
want to be, what you are...all its part of this fantastic universe, our universe, and still growing up every moment we share a part of
ourselves.

Make "AbstracT"
was a process of knowledge of myself. When I started this challenge I had no
idea of how the model will look like, I think I was lost, but I found myself and
I didn't even know. Everything was defiance, with a solution before it starts.
I wanted my model to be simple (simplicity is powerful) but at the same time
complex, and I did it:

AbstracT mesh was simple (you can
see the tutorial at the top of this project) I only had to press some buttons,
and that's it?... If I didn't have the knowledge MB-Lab addon exists and how to
use it, I would not have achieved this personal achievement...but there were
opportunities (not problems) to take advantage of (the rig was not working
properly and I have to rig my character on Mixamo). I wanted to go one step
further and do an incredible animation.
The complex part was materials nodes
setup. I had to mix different textures with shaders and use vectors and
attributes to make AbstracT special
effects. Thanks to the free material assets I have downloaded for free and my
understanding of how nodes work, I could create AbstracT materials. The only
one that was made totally for me was the transparent material, and I have to
watch a tutorial to complete it.

As you see, the journey was like a
mountain, sometimes you feel you are on the top but then you go to the bottom
again, and that's the funny part, scale once more to have success in your life.
Try again and again, and never give up. Try once more, You Can Do It... and
even you fail, feel comfortable because you have decided to climb...Now you're
on the top of Everest, your next objective will be the stars:

"Dream big, it will come
true"
Thank you, everyone!
