Amelie: Ethereal Dream (CLOSED)

This scene, "Amelia Ethereal Dream," was crafted for the Reflections Render Contest, infusing the dream universe with elements that maximize reflective surface area while maintaining visual balance. The angle and pose are inspired by vintage RPG book covers, where the central character is always on the verge of action.
For the setting, I constructed the set in Blender to capture the fluidity of water and the flow of the skirt, using simulation tools to create movement. All texturing was also done in Blender, but the final set-up for lighting and rendering was completed in iRay within Daz.
To add more color and depth, I conducted post-production in Photoshop. Here I am sharing the entire development process, as well as the original render.
I hope you enjoy it!
