I'm delighted to participate in this character design contest and am pleased to present my entry (WIP) below.

Rigging - I use the Auto-Rig Pro add-on to set up the basic rig for the character, then manually adjust and refine the weight painting to perfect the rig.

Rigging - I rig the character's succulent hair separately so that it will move or bounce naturally with the movements. This process is done manually and then integrated with the main body rig.

Fri, Sep 27, 2024Great work, but i think you need read the lastest post in the foxy3d forum in this contests or my madamme lupanari post, the work in animation, rigging, topology , etc... etc... will not be considered in the contest. I tell you this so that you don't put more work than you consider necessary into something that is going nowhere.

I rigged the backpack and lantern in Blender and tested the rig with the main character rig. I also did some lighting tests and put together a video to showcase everything.
