Flora Mercenary

I wasn't super happy with how the hair for ZeroTwo came out so I started from scratch again making new strands that could then be put together using curves to make an hairstyle

How the strands came out. Also imported an pair of eyes that I already had made. I also sculpted the face and body to a new shape

With the theme of flora of course I had to go green for the eyes

The hair coloring I just made in blender using the shader nodes.

The body since it was imported was already unwrapped so I brought it over into substance painter for a new coat of paint

Kept a simpler cleaner look while texturing the skin, I was looking for the halfway point of realistic and 2D.

Body was pretty much done, and I moved onto something that I really wanted to do. Making a scifi weapon! Used subdivision modeling and edge creases to build the grip.

I based the design off the Scar-L, but wanted to make the gun waaay smaller and more like an Auto Pistol type weapon. Lotta mirror, bevel, and subdivision modifierer were used here.

After the modeling was done, I imported it into Substance painter to make it come to life. Glowing barrels are just fun to make!

I really want to 3D print it...

Body suit

Built a sprayer part that connects right underneath the knee.

Here I was using the concept of lots of small simple pieces to create a more complex whole. This being the Upper torso and neck armor. Curves were used for the straps and cabling.

The carry pack, crucial for her occupation! All the same workflow as seen above.

Done.
After the bombs fell. Vegetation suitable for human consumption became quite rare. People started to fight between each other for what was left. It became so that mercenaries started to fufill the role of protecter and mailman. Larger cities would send out saplings as payment for small settlements that traded back with ores or other goods.
Flora transporters would have to fight man, monster, and irradiated lands to deliver the precious packages. Becoming quite rich through hazard pay.
I was absolutely stressed out by the deadline for the last week. Wish I noticed the deadline being pushed back a little earlier. To finish I had to axe a couple of ideas, those being shoulder pauldrons, flask and other bits on the belt, and a mechanical arm attached to the Carrypack. Oh well, just happy to be done now!
Below are other views and viewport renders

Given the contest is going ahead another month, I decided to add a couple more details to the outfit. Including Wide brimmed hat, Shoulder Pauldron and Sleeve, and water filter flask
