Hello everyone!)Thanks to RenderHub for this contest! Most often there are render contests here.Since the time was increased to three months instead of two, I couldn't pass by such an event.
By the way, if there are such contests in the future, it would be better to attach a visual example of how to properly design a demonstration of your work. This will be much clearer for the participants.
I wanted to do more, as usual, but in order not to choke, I bit off a smaller piece.I hope you like my work.
It all started with the helmet. I made modified versions until I decided on the main form.

Then the rest of the body.Some sections were successful the first time, while others had to be redone several times.



Naturally a ponytail! How can we live without him?
Now how it looks in low-poly version with some geometry edits and taking into account contours for smoothing.. Because in the future I will make content for DazStudio from this work.And the joints will be compatible with my previous works. Some of them are not even published, although they were almost ready. All my free time and even more was taken by this contest.Okay, enough whining! =)




There was a lot of fiddling with my hands. I think I raised a couple of levels using ZModeler. I burned a ton of neural cells because some geometry operations caused an emergency exit.


Some people might be able to guess where these things will be placed.=)

Now the character's face and other attributes.
Since everything is done for the G8F skeleton, a wrap was made for the face morph at the end.
Creating patterns and masks of skin elements, on different areas of the face. Although these can be bought in stores and they will be of higher quality than mine. But it was interesting to do it myself and you can find a lot of video tutorials.
Pigmentation of pores and other skin areas using mask by cavity and curvature. Masks for local correction of makeup color and iris. And mask of facial veins for the SSS map.
Eyebrows and eyelashes were made in 3dsMax. I found a video tutorial and wanted to try it. Although the same can be done in ZBrush.Later I will make deformation of the eyebrow area at the intersection with the scar.
If I went to hell, I would do my hair there. xDPerhaps I still don't have enough experience.I don't want to comment on this stage any further.)

I didn't plan this thing in the hair band, I just needed emotional relaxation when I was doing my hair or I would have gone crazy. I even managed to save a video of the sculpt. In future renders, no one will probably pay attention to this small detail. But maybe it saved my life. xD

Very impressive and smooth model creation. The way you demonstrated your W.I.P in the video was very skilful.
