Hello all. This is my first submission for the character Design contest. Will be uploading the rest shortly.

Fri, Nov 01, 2024Here is the basemesh I started out with. I initially did a sculpt in Zbrush using Dynamesh then brought it into Maya for retopo. Eventually it made its way back into Zbrush and I worked on the details from there.

Fri, Nov 01, 2024Worked on the hair by making the curves of the style I wanted. Converted them to haircards using sweep mesh and a few nifty python scripts that made the development of the hair a little easier.

Fri, Nov 01, 2024Made a basemesh of the weapons in Maya. This weapon is actually kind unique. It serves as a 2 in 1. It can either be a staff for magic attacks or a glaive for melee attacks.

Wed, Nov 06, 2024I posted an emoji of the guy with his hands in the air like he's excited, and it gave me this "♂" ....
