Need help with Smooth tool in zbrush
59Hi, is there any way of straighten (ironing) hair cards in zbrush?
I'd just like to make curly hair less curly as a morph target for DAZ studio.
Smoothing doesn't work as expected, for it also makes each hair card element thinner.
So how do I smooth hair WITHOUT making it thinner?

It's hard to tell what you're working with without pictures, but when it comes to hair cards, best you can really do is use the "Move" (not "Move Topologies") tool to grab the geometry and move it. You're gonna have to play with the draw size and focal shift to move it smoothly.
I've had success using that, but it's gonna be painstaking work and go slowly. Almost make sure you have Dynamic Subdivision turned off when doing this and export at base resolution so you can bring it back in as a morph. Hope that helps
