Temple Foot Tease
3D Render by NeoEdoAfter 3 weeks of working on this; it's finally complete!
I started with a different placement, pose and even lighting set up. I rendered it, but the feet/soles weren't to my liking. Switched it up, rendered it, and then the lighting wasn't to my liking. Even the shadows started bothering me. Eventually, everything fell into place.
During this whole process I learned (the hard way, mind you) about rigging the figure first before posing (especially when using foot morphs/maps). I also decided to use the environment's HDRI to create a more "natural outdoor light scene". Then, using GIMP, I had this idea of creating a kind of "dual-scene". The initial render is the one on the right, but I really wanted to do a close up of the feet/soles, as well.
*Thank you @NecDaz91 for creating and offering the foot morph. I purchased the base morph specifically for this scene, but I already have my next scene thought up. Along with the free bonus morphs and displacement maps; It's a must have addition to the "DAZ3D tool kit".
*Thank you to @lazygunns for the amazing outfits. I had originally started this scene using the Slave Outfit but I really wanted to show off the Bodysuit WITH one of the expansions. All the outfits are so elegant and detailed!
*Environment: Temple Pool by Stonemason (DAZ3D shop)
An analogy, if you will. "The artists that create all these wonderful assets, be it foot morphs or outfits, are only providing us with the "ingredients" we need to create our feasts. It's up to us, also the artists (or in this case the "Chefs") to put them together and cook the "main course".
