She looks so real! How did you do her smile so realistic? Her skin looks great too. All my renders look like 3D plastic dolls lol

There are several ways to work with a smile. I prefer to use PS, but it takes some time to get it looking realistic. A simple solution is FA. It's very simple. I just don't like the quality loss with it as well as, you can't pick the smile. It's almost assigned automatically. Still a brilliant app to use.

Tue, Feb 21, 2023I just picked up Skin Builder 8 and its made a huge difference. Thank you. Someone else also mentioned FA assuming you meant faceapp. So which did you use on this image, PS or FA?

Tue, Feb 21, 2023On this I used PS. I wanted her to have a cute and tiny overbite. With FA it's hit or miss on the smile you get. You can select only two types of open smiles, neither of which would show an overbite.

Wed, Feb 22, 2023I played around with FA a little bit last night and I was amazed at the difference it made on my renders to bring them life and personality. But I see now where you're coming from. Not many options for expressions. A lip bite would be a fun smile/expression to add.

Wed, Feb 22, 2023Honestly, a lip bite would be amazing! I wish they had an expressions app that worked as well. Maybe they do and I'm just not aware of it. I would love to have fear expressions, sorrow, joy, etc. I would certainly use it more for my portrait images. I typically only use it when editing my comic series I create. It's much quicker to work with when creating 100+ images vs PS.
