Half human, half demon, Holly Ween is one of the most unlikely superheroes you're ever likely to hear of. Her father, a Duke of Hell, she has yet to meet, her mother, a missionary, died giving birth. She was raised by a savant uncle who never held truth from her. He lived in an old townhouse in New Orleans. He told her she had a choice, to give in to her demonic nature and eventually be hunted down, maybe even by her own uncle; or use her hellish gifts for good. Still not sure 'who' she was at 18 years old, she was presented a chance to decide when a coven of vampires moved into her neighborhood. Using her hellish powers to become 'unseen', she spied on them one night as they went hunting for prey. There were 3 hunting that night. When they cornered a teen couple making out in the park, part of her wanted to help the teens, but she hesitated. Then suddenly, just as the night fiends moved in for the kill, another vampire was in their midst. She was beautiful, about Holly's size, with long red hair, and seemingly cussing out the evil vampires in Cajun French. And she was quite a bit more powerful than the other 3. She ripped them apart until there was nothing but bits and pieces left, and those blew away on the wind as ash. She flashed her fangs and hissed at the young love birds which sent them running for all they were worth. Then, in spite of Holly's magical stealth, the Cajun vampire turned and looked right at her. "You gonna give me trouble now cher'?" she said, her voice smooth as Southern Comfort and ice cream. Holly could only shake her head no. The red-haired vampire gave her a smile and a nod, then she was gone. From that night on, Holly knew she wanted to be one of the good guys. She eventually befriended Genevieve Delacroix, the red-haired vampire, and often they teamed up to slay some monster or demon preying on the weak.
