Rath Hellstorm once taught talented young spellcasters how to cast fireballs. The Academy gave him the title of Fire Sorcerer, the Professor of Flame. But in truth Rath knew as many types of magicks as the Archmagus, and probably a few the archmagus didn't. You're good with fire spells; teach them fire magic! was the order of the Archmagus. And so he did; for a time. Then the matter came when to keep his student and lover from being trapped in hell forever; he cast a forbidden spell. He bound her, now a demon, to his service to keep her out of the planes of Hell. It was forbidden to summon a demon, let alone bind it to the material world, as Anabelle, the succubus,was now soul-bound to Rath. Now an outcast, he has, for some time been increasing his knowledge and power of the mystic arts.
