Well, you just made my day! Sometimes I hit the mark better than other times, eh? Still lacking in energy and stamina isn't helping.

I do fancy myself as a minimalist. Sort of. Mostly. Actually, I tend to think like a photographer in a studio -- and that would sort of impose simplicity from the get go. On the other hand, Poser et al do let one do things like position the camera fifteen feet in the air, which is hard or impossible in most studios, and definitely a pain to accomplish in the physical world.

Two thoughts tend to drive me. Have always driven me, even when I was shooting professionally. One is "capture the magic that woman is". The other is "paint with the edge between light and shadow".
