3D Render by maru_berlinEven more DAZ stuff vendors have left Rendo, now also Powerage and Color Galeria, along with Tempesta, LilFlame, Sveva and Lully.
Oh, well, this indeed is a quick test of a Tempesta prop I bought (more to get 3 items discounted from my wishlist - the wonders of DAZ's eternal sales and offers).
Also tried a painterly version (Fotosketcher), but the plain b&w is my favourite.

the render itself is super amazing - and yes all top vendors switch to DAZ ... everybody is wondering

Thu, Apr 18, 2024Cheers, mate.
Maybe Rendo is planning on being a just-Poser-Shop in future. And if they treat their PAs the way they deal with their customers one might wonder why it took so long to move (not, that DAZ morally is an improvement, at least for artists who are used to show the whole human body).

Hi, very nice b/w render
Yes, I can also observe this with the vendors. Many people seem to be turning their backs on Renderosity. I also have to admit that I hardly buy anything anymore because the shop has deteriorated considerably and you can hardly find any products anymore (the search function is terrible).

Sat, Apr 20, 2024Glad youl like the render.
The last days have seen the migration of about ten vendors, of which I would condsider some as key contributors. Also, one can observe that Rendo supports the Daz figures roughly until 8.1, which may be based on the fact that older generations might work with Poser, the newer ones allegedly do not (I binned Poser shortly after buying my first version when I started, so I am not really an expert on Poser, though).
Personally I have stopped posting on Rendo 18 months ago, due to ongoing discussions on nudity, "self touching" (how do these guy wash themselves??) and their inability to receive opposition. I am still visiting that page occasionally for some artists, and to exchange with those of my artist friends that have not migrated to other platforms. (3 remaining, though one of them has been seen repeatedly now on DA). Also, my old gallery is still there, since I didn't want to migrate 800 renders to elsewhere. Yes, I have been there quite a while, before they scared me off.
BUT: no good looking back. Let's hope this sites stays as is "headwise".
Have a great weekend.
(And I still don't mind critical/constructive comments, or an exchange on tips and tricks....)
