The late great Eartha Kitt (Jan 17, 1927 - Dec 25, 2008). Appeared as Catwoman on December 14, 1967, episode 'Catwoman's Dressed to Kill' on the third and final season of ABC's Batman. She replaced Julie Newmar due to Newmar shooting a movie. Even though it was for one episode, Eartha owned it and made a lasting memory with a unique, cat-like cadence that imbued the show with a new level of playful mischief for the time hadn't been quite seen before.
