Mysterious horse
3D Render by Beautiful MisfitsThis render drove me almost crazy.
The horse, even though it's a water horse add-on for the daz horse2, looks ways too dry. I was trying to make the skin look more wet, but failed badly, so I used the texture, that comes with the horse add-on.
Don't know, if I've overdone it with the water splashes (too much movement maybe) but without it just looked stupid.
Idi, a character I got from AshenPortfolio (Thanks a lot for her) and the outfit from Kuraikya
All else from daz3d.

Well it was worth the investment x Glad you persisted!

Mon, Jul 22, 2024Thank you
Well, I don't give up so easily and still hope, I can manage it to create a wet looking skin for the horse.
Tons of tutorials out there for human figures, but just don't work with the skin from the waterhorse.
And if I ever figure that out, it will be my first freebie here on this side

Hi Beautiful Misfits,
have you tried a Geo Shell? It's not that difficult - and if you render with Iray, you can create a simple wet look very quickly. If you like, you are welcome to send me a PM. It might take me a while to reply (a lot of work at the moment) ... but I will definitely reply
Here is an example: Eve's Wet Look is a simple geo shell:

Tue, Jul 23, 2024Hi Pushee-Ri,
yes, I did, I followed his tutorial, but somewhere I must have make a mistake and most important, I forgot the right light (Thanks Petege for telling me).
And, I found it last night, I can spare a lot of time and trial and error by just going to daz3d, there is someone selling a toolbox *lol* https://www.daz3d.com/da-geoshell-toolbox-for-horse-2
And your render, I can only say WOW
