"My own feelings keep overwhelming me, and yet they have become sacred to me. It may seem strange that I publish poems about my feelings. But basically, everyone only has two options: either they speak their inner truth and face society's reactions, or they live a lie every day in society. Neither is easy.
Several times in my life I have allowed myself to be forced to do things I didn't want to do or say things I didn't want to say. And all because I was afraid of "falling outside the norm", being excluded or something similar. In short, for social reasons. Looking back, that was idiotic and cowardly."
