It's quite educational to compare the two and to look at the histogram before and after the edits.

Tue, Oct 15, 2024The former histogram has more midtones, and the latter has more blacks and the bright spots have been maintained but the brightest spots have been dulled. Yet because the blacks have been made darker so the midtones appear brighter in contrast. That's a very interesting to learn from. Thanks for sharing this!
