amazing render

Dear Dag ... laugh - write her a song.

I have a bass rift/beat-line  thats been kicking around for a while ... was going to be called "Blackie" - kind of easy listening theme for dudes cruising - about an old Vincent 1200 (friend had one - called 'Blackie'). You know "Muddies'"  - Ahh Hunn ...  break.  So you got the beat (bass) which is the core and lead - lyric bar - then the Ahh Hunn (bass rift) ... etc.

Was mindful of Blackie's 'bite' (kick-start back fire ... into your calf). Got that a couple of times. Life's not the same without kick starters (helping you wake-up, if you jumped on still half asleep to go to work - then wham ... followed by hopping around thinking you're going to die - but you were wide awake!

Got a bit of stuff on, but I'll put something together and send it to you.

If we can get her to give us a theme, context and mood ... expect we can do something special. - but not bloody K-Pop (sorry - just not enough concrete shoes around when you need then).

As a respite from being artistic - lets be artistic!

Taking a look at Tomi, Jailia and Ilina (as good examples - her work) ... do you agree she does a kind of mirrored self portrait trick by projecting the character on herself and then getting it perfect?

Stay cool bud ... and safe, and sober (between being drunk) ...

Cheers,

 Rick

Dear Gwasanne, and our lay-back session muso (Dagger),

You would both get booted out of the Hells Angels for failing to notice she is about to got arse-up (no side or centre stand), which would make the next two shots in sequence rather interesting {laugh}.

Nevertheless - lot of work. Good pose and great setting.

That bike must have taken some work to place, as it does not actually exist outside a concept model up on the Superbike Motorcycle web gallery. Lights are from a CBR 250RR, rest is a mix of MV Augusta (1000) and Kawasaki GPZ ... meaning Gwasanee did a lot of work to get it into the render and placed.

Not your fault the guy that did the concept design, neglected to add certain essentials (like stands).

Very good render/concept setting and you are always pushing your boundaries (good).

However, your greatest strength and outstanding talent is in your character studies. Quite a few are exceptional, and unique to you, because they are semi-self portraits.

It is a gift you have, of imagining an image/character - then you do her face as though you were doing yours in a mirror. That makes you/them stand out and stand alone.

Ikke46 is brilliant, but he forms/renders according to classical portrait styles/convention. You draw it from within - quite amazing.

So - having achieved the heights in character studies, it is great to push yourself in other areas (as you do, and extensively) ... provided it is not a question of worrying you might not attain the same level of excellence in another character study/portrait - in your unique special style. Not fair to deprive the world of your talent (were that the case. I don't think it is - rather there is so much and you're refining/challenging yourself).

As always - pleasure looking at your work and thank you for sharing it.

In the event you get a spare moment ... nag Dagger and make him write you a song or rift! {laugh - great guy, you'll like him}.

 Cheers,

 Rick.
