About Skin Tests and DAZ Products
3D Render by Pushee-RiI actually wanted to put together a few pictures for my next project ... but since I also gave a G9 skin a finishing touch at the same time, this picture comes first.
With the G9 skin I tried to reduce the Texture sizes: instead of 100+ MB I'm down to about 40 MB ... and the skin doesn't look bad, does it?
What looks like scribbled stitches is supposed to be HAIR - from the DAZ STORE!!!! They're always banging on about tested products and quality and stuff ... and then sell products with half of the .dufs missing.
Folks - I'm so sick of this!

What I like here is, that this skin don't look like a wallpaper, special the one so typical German, the Rauhfasertapete.
Since we get this extreme texture size with 4K+++ I don't make any close up, I just don't like Rauhfaser-Skin.
Sorry, there isn't any good translation for this word, except woodchip wallpaper, but this just don't explain the look of it.

Sun, May 04I call such skin - depending on my mood - either Parmesan grater skin or facial cellulite. I have a few nasty ones myself ... DAZ Originals, of course ( puke!)
And it's really not that difficult (with the textures/bumps): you can easily develop 8bit grayscale bumps from the Vyusur base color templates ... and then there's no more facial cellulite or overflowing MBs

I really like the detail of the lips in this image, the skin on the face is also very realistic. Bravo!

At least half of the credit goes to Vyusur: the product's color templates (Base Color) are great for creating bump maps and other texture maps.
