FlatBush GF8 - Info
3D Render by PasahRi3D pubic hair is great - no question! But have you ever tried to display it underneath semi-transparent clothing or only partially covered in your scene? Good luck ... and happy retouching
FlatBush allows you to use pubic hair underneath clothing. The following information can also be called up directly in the installed project.
-----------------------
SEPARATE DIRECTORIES
Depending on the model you want to work with, select either GF8 (Genesis 8 Female) or GF81 (Genesis 8.1 Female).
In these folders you will find the GeoShell scripts and the material presets.
SHELL and PRESETS
With the model selected, first use the "1st Create ..." script. This creates and selects a "FlatBush .."
object for you. With "2nd Assign ..." preset you can now assign the first shape of the material presets to
the selected shell object. To change the shape, switch to the folder Material -> Iray of the
current directorie.
POKE THROUGHS
My shells have a much smaller distance to the skin than usual. This works well for most models. If your
model does not conform to the standard and therefore poke throughs or other disorders occur, you can
correct them as follows:
With the FlatBush shell selected in the "Scene" pane, switch to the "Parameters" pane -> Mesh Offset
and increase the Offset Distance value in small steps (0.02), until the poke throughs disappear.
TOO DARK, TOO BRIGHT, TOO WHATEVER
Depending on the type or material setting of the clothing, the FlatBush object may shine through too dark
or too light. Then switch (with the FlatBush shell selected) to "Surfaces" pane. There you can either change
the "Base Color" setting or reduce/increase the "Cutout Opacity" until you like the setting.
REPOSITION FLATBUSH
You can reposition FlatBush. This is helpful if too much or too little is displayed in your scene. Then
proceed as follows:
With the FlatBush shell selected in the "Scene" pan, switch to the "Surfaces" pane. Scroll down the list
until you see the "Vertical Offset" option. By carefully changing this option (0.02 steps), you can move
the FlatBush material vertically.
CAN I USE FLATBUSH WITH DAZ AE, GOLDEN PALLACE OR OTHER?
No - you can't use this project with GeoGrafts like Anatomical Elements, Golden Pallace or other.
If you use FlatBush with GeoGrafts, you will only see a white area where the GeoGraft replaces
the 3D faces of the model.
FlatBush is designed solely for use under transparent or translucent clothing - and without genitals.
CAN I USE FLATBUSH WITHOUT CLOSES?
Sure - but keep in mind that this is a 2D project (aka "painted on") ... and that you can't use genitals.
