Pushee-Ri - up close and personal
3D Render by Pushee-RiHonestly - sometimes it's not easy being me.
This picture is the main promo of a project that will never hit the stores. After 99% was done (DAZ UI, packed, tested, etc. pp. ff ...) I realized while rendering the last (!) Pomo image that I hadn't really used the white skin that it was supposed to be about ....
ZIINNGGG (sound that came out when a spring shot out of my cap)
Well ... after all, working on the project gave me the idea to deal with heterochromia.
Puhhh - lucky again

Love the render and the heterochromatic eyes are nice too, i recently brought something that does this for G8 but if i start using G9 ill give this one a go. Nice!

Sat, Jun 28Thank you very much
For all there is to criticize about G9 (and as we all know, there is a lot), there is one thing that is great: the eyes. For G8 this is hardly feasible - unless you change the mesh of the eyes (GeoGraft) and put about 20 MB of textures into the material slots.

Sat, Jun 28Yeah there are a few eyes that i had that wern't too bad but a lot are a bit wishy washy, i've taken a break from 3d for the last week but will have a play about with the asset i brought for the G8 eyes and see what i come up with (Already got an render in mind that relates back to one of my favorite fantasy book series other than Tolkien)

Yes, I understand, abandoning a finished project because of a detail that is not right, I know well... Alas, I have a few on my hard drive

Sat, Jun 28But isn't that - somehow - also a quality feature of a careful producer? You don't just churn out everything you make, but you do your best for the users (and also for yourself)

Can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about this image that's really hitting home with me. It's now nestled safely among my favorites.
P.S. I'm sure you already know this, but a lot of times our "mistakes" end up being the best things that ever happen to us.

Sun, Jun 29Thank you soooooooo much
Yep - mistakes are there to learn from. Since I'm sometimes a bit lazy when it comes to learning, I have to make the same mistake three times before I understand

Mon, Jun 30My pleasure.
I have to admit I'm a bit jealous if it only takes you three times to figure out your mistakes. I'm somewhere in double digits on that one.
