Simply incredible work!!
Your promo character is absolutely perfect, it would be an instant purchase if you ever made her available for sale.

Sat, Jul 19Thanks, we haven't done any characters for sale for these last two generations, but would like to get back to it!
She was available for V4, I have her but can't remember how to get her into Daz3D ! Character is called
Alice 5.

Thu, Jul 17There should be a tutorial that explains how to import V4 into Daz Studio, but I wonder if it's current.
I'm not sure it's still compatible.
The version to bring in Daz Studio I believe was V4.2

We were lucky enough to have had the character of Alice (and her variations) for Victoria 4 at a time when the morphological variations of the models offered relatively little variety.
Now, I can understand that the authors wanted to keep this character (the new Alice?) for their own pleasure. But with generations 8 and 9, we have a plethora of excellent models who are also very attractive!

Sat, Jul 19It's more that we have been focusing on other kind of products (we have also "abandoned" hair products, for example), but we would like to get back to character creations.
What's kept us so far, it's having our own high quality skin texture (things are so much different from the V4 times), once we have that, we can think about characters

Tue, Jul 29While you have abandoned hair... what hair is this, if I may ask?
It flows down quite realistical, which is often a problem even with many dforce-hairs. Is that simulated or placed?

Tue, Jul 29That's Linday's Classic Blowout, it's basically our go-to hair.
They are simulated using our own settings. Yes, they look quite good!

This, THIS is why your poses are so spectacular, that, and I'm willing to bet you're an animator as well, I myself have been inspired by your work with creating much more realistic poses, due to your mastery of balance!

Tue, Jul 22Thanks for the kind words!
We used to do some animation, in the past, but haven't really done much lately. However the rules of animation are always a precious guide as well as great references and using all the tools available in Daz Studio.
In the end, yes, poses are a balancing game. So glad that you felt inspired to create more realistic poses!

Tue, Jul 22I've been inspired since the V4 days, and yes I noted your animation prowess as each pose is always in motion even when the character is static as you can see when and where the weight shifts depending on what the character is doing as it is that which guides the pose itself, at least that's my impression!
It, reminds me of Frazetta's work, and from the anime genre of art, I find both inspirations very compelling to create and view!
In all of poserdom and the dazosphere, your work stands as a unique perspective in our community, as very few of our number have mastered the technique of still motion, as well as the mastery of artistic human anatomy, it's too bad we don't see any corrective/enhancement morphs from you as well!

Wed, Jul 23Thanks, that's fantastic feedback that we deeply appreciate!
In truth, we're not too fond of generic corrective morphs as they tend to only work in specific situations.
We do find some useful, but they always need to be used with care.
This is why we also stopped including some generic undress / exposure morphs for clothes, as soon as the character moves they look terrible.
And we prefer to create independent version of clothing, such as unzipped shorts or pants being taken off because it mean they will work well with any pose.
That said, we do have some poses + specific morphs planned, but the fact that we have to make them for G8 and G9 is kind of annoying, because we have to make them for the generic G9 figure, but then, probably, also include a V9 version.
That means doing the same work 3 times fully and we have to plan for that.
