3D Render by dirtrider00Really struggled trying to find the right hair for this. Neck and head bend were just too extreme and none of the dynamic hair I have seemed to fit the scene.

Sometimes that gets you.
Meshgrabber only does so much to get the hair to bend right for certain poses.

Fri, Aug 29I have that but never really found a need to use it. A lot of the hairs I really want are for G9 but its just too hit or miss with them converting over to G8 regardless of the methods I've tried.

Fri, Aug 29I find myself needing to use that as a last resort to get something to drape or fit right.

Fri, Aug 29I created a free tutorial for using any hair generation on any Daz figure
https://www.renderhub.com/bikdingle/how-to-use-any-hair-on-a-daz-figure
It's not a perfect method and I haven't tried using a G9 dForce hair on a G8 figure yet but expect I might someday

Fri, Aug 29I'll take a look later and see if I'm missing a technique I haven't already tried.
The last render I did like this I used long deforce taffy hair lol. I had to take the model into scene alone and made only her head visible, then cocked her entirely at an angle (haha) so that when the deforce simulated it would fall like the wind was hitting it and it wouldn't collide or hit nothing else and explode, then I reposed everything and it looked okay. Kept it from doing the explody thing that we all love so much.

Sat, Aug 30I originally had Quiets head morph for this scene and was trying to replace the gaming version of the hair she came with. Just didn't have anything that worked. I seem to be lucky when using dforce because I haven't really ever had a problem with explosions. I do have a routine I use, especially for the heavier scenes with multiple characters and and object interactions. Biggest problem I have is crashing Daz.

i would suggest to use some oot hair maybe, that has blow morph, so it will show the wind ang the dynamics of the scene. but i liked the small details like the fingers on the break (or clutch, i don't remember how it works on bikes
)

Sat, Aug 30I actually have alot of OOT's hairs, actually the one I used in this scene is theirs. No real problems with the hairs, but outside of some of their ponytails and shorter hairs, they just aren't the style I like to use.
