3D Render by dirtrider00Trying to make a settlement in the mountains for my crew.
Still need to add some of the small stuff like props for the shooting range behind the main compound but outside of doing some grouping to keep it as modular as possible, the eastside is done outside of the treeline and mountain range in the background. Want to replace it with the geometry equivalent.

thats looking pretty damn good. Is that an hdri background or an asset of some kind? I find that's often the hardest part is the distant backgroundREPLY

Sun, Sep 21, 2025Thanks! The actual mountain background with the tree is from Kindred Arts and called Paralaxx or something like that. Its just 2 rings with inner and outer. The mountains are the outer, and the trees are the inner. Skys HDRI but I very rarely use HDRI for outside scenes anymore.
I've already replaced the tree inner ring and it looks alot better. Probably have to keep the outer ring cause the scene is getting heavy!
