A young woman enters the wood with an offering of flowers to the ancient goddess who has ruled from her wooden throne for centuries. Unfortunately the woods are displeased, and like others who have come before her, she will stay here to feed the trees.

I've really enjoyed doing this as it's been a way of getting back into blender after a long time of false starts and delays. It's been good to try and remember all the stuff I'd learnt and forgotten over time and revisit tutorials and tips and experiment. The main woman was my first attempt to create a character in Daz and then pose and dress her. I had to amend the pose a bit in blender and also sort out the textures. The other characters were taken from mixamo and amended poses in blender as well. For all scattered plants and trees I used the free gscatter add on and some of its assets and others from poly haven. Anything else I created or used a free model as a base and amended to how I needed.

Then lots of lighting and colour tweaks and a mist pass. All within blender, no overpainting etc.
