Nias Herz macht heute nur ein leises rrr“ – kein Drama, eher eine Erwartung, die an einer unsichtbaren Kante hängen bleibt. Etwas verloren steht sie im Nirgendwo und zählt Schatten, während sich Pix geschickt an ihre Schulter klammert: klein, mechanisch, mit ziemlich rundem Kopf. Schweigsam, aber auf eine angenehme Art.

ch glaube, ich bin kaputt“, sagt sie schließlich zögerlich. Pix nickt ernst, reicht ihr sein lächerlich winziges Handtuch und wartet, bis sie flüstert:
enn du Rat für mich hättest … nur theoretisch?“

Seine miserabel imitierten Regentropfengeräusche bringen sie zum Kichern.

Sie gehen wieder hinein und einigen sich auf:

Vielleicht ruft er morgen an, vielleicht nicht. Aber einer bleibt, wenn alles wackelt. Und genau darin liegt die Superkraft ihrer ziemlich besten Freundschaft.

Pretty Best Friends

Nia's heart makes only a soft "krrr" today – not a full drama, more like an expectation catching on an invisible edge. A little lost, she stands in the middle of nowhere counting shadows, while Pix clings to her shoulder: small, mechanical, with a rather round head. Silent – but in a comforting way.

"I think I'm broken," she says at last, hesitant. Pix nods, hands her his ridiculously tiny towel, and waits until she whispers:
"If you had advice for me… purely theoretical?"

His belly flickers with the reply:

"Big feelings on an empty stomach are boss fights without gear," he adds with a grin, and Nia laughs for the first time.

After half-burnt toast with sticky honey, they walk a little in the garden. Each time she sighs, Pix taps her ankles, gentle as a metronome.

To the question "What if I'm not enough?" he answers after a brief scan: Signal okay.

Then he adds, encouraging:

"You nerd," she murmurs, but her gaze grows brighter. Does "he" think of her?
Data unclear … it blinks, and right after:

When she asks whether to act cool or be honest, Pix buzzes:
Honest, but in doses.
The heart is a watering can, not a bucket.
His terribly imitated raindrop noises make her giggle.

"You're not broken," he finally writes.
Just updating. And if it fails, I stay. Restart in safe mode.

They go back inside and agree on:
Plan A: Sleep
Plan B: Breakfast
Plan C: Nudge life gently.

Maybe he will call tomorrow, maybe not. But one will stay when everything wobbles. And that is exactly the superpower of their pretty best friendship.
