Why Are You Looking at Me Like That?

2 Black pyramids suddenly appeared in the desert near the western border of Egypt. A expedition was sent as soon as humanly possible. Kim joined her Professor as his top student. After studying the out side of the pyramids all day, they had not found any entrance. Back at the base camp Kim was getting ready to take a shower when the ground started to shake. Before she knew what was happening a giant hand reach into the tent and grabbed her.

Kim was quickly drug outside and high into the air. She had been grabbed by a giant women with golden eyes. It was the eyes that scared Kim the most, they were looking at her in a way that she had only seen when someone was looking at their favorite candy bar.

"Why are looking at me like that?" ask Kim fearfully.

As if to answer the giant raised her above her head and started to lower her toward her gapping mouth.

"No, No, No, this can't be happening," screamed Kim as she tried to not go into the mouth. To no avail.

As the mouth started to close as she was only halfway in Kim feared that she was about to be bit in two. But only the lips closed around her midsection. The slight relief she got from that slipped away as the giant slurping her in deeper and started to swallow her whole.

There was nothing to grab to stop her descent as Kim went head first down the giant's throat.

The Goddess couldn't help but smile as the mortal slid down her throat. How long had it been since she had tasted one? How long had it been since the offerings? How long since her imprisonment by the others? If she was free that meant only one thing, the Goddess War had started. If she won she would be the next mother Goddess of earth and would be able to remake it in her image. But to do that she would need more offerings, more sacrifices.

As she scanned the horizon she saw light emitting from a distant city. Had the mortals grown so arrogant as too challenge the night? No mater, all it did was show her where they were. As she started walking toward the city the Undead horde made from the rest of the expedition followed behind. The men would be turned into undead servants and the women would be offerings to her.

And so begins the Goddess War. This is an idea that I have had bouncing around my head for a few years now. The main jest is that every millennium or so the Goddess War happens to see who the next Mother Goddess of earth will be. The Goddesses from multiple pantheons duke it out till only one is left standing. She will be the next Mother Goddess. The last Mother Goddess was Gaia but the last Goddess War was interrupted by the arrival of the Great Old One Cthulhu. The goddess had to end the war and defeat him and no winner was decided. Now the next Goddess War has begun and Goddesses new and old fight and our only hope is that the winner wants to keep us humans around.

Truthfully this was an idea for a fighting game which I will never be able to make.

I don't have a name for this Goddess yet and I might keep it that way. Unless someone can good one for her. She is suppose to be the lost daughter of Set, a goddess of undeath that the other gods of Egypt imprisoned and erased from history. For the dead were not meant to rise in the word of the living.
