3D Render by PXfThe ruins no longer pretended at silence.
They stood at the heart of the broken stone, three figures framed by toppled pillars and creeping vines, blood pooling in dark seams between ancient bricks. The jungle pressed close on all sides, its breath hot and wet, but closer still were the armoured forms circling them, rows of iron, sharpened points, snarling mouths behind tusked frowns. Spears levelled inward, catching sunlight, hemming them in with disciplined menace.
The Barbarian stepped forward first.
She was an image of brutal symmetry and coiled violence, her muscles flexing as she rolled her shoulders, cracked her neck, and smiled at the ring of steel with naked delight. Scars traced her skin like a history written in pain and triumph. She did not crouch. She did not retreat. She claimed space, daring the enemy to take it from her. When she planted her feet, stone trembled as if it too feared her.
To her right, the Wild Elf lowered her centre of gravity, spear angled just so, the skull-marked planes of her face unreadable. Her movements were fluid, economical, each breath measured, each shift a promise of precision. Her body formed lethal lines beneath leather and bone, dangerous curves that drew the eye only long enough for death to arrive. She watched the orcs without hatred, without fear, only cold calculation.
Behind them, the Moon Elf raised one pale hand, energy spilling into the air from her open palm. Her other hand clutched her grimoire as a translucent veil shimmered into being, wrapping the trio in silver-blue light. The jungle wind stilled around them. Leaves froze mid-fall. Even the orcs hesitated, instincts screaming that something ancient and unforgiving had taken notice.
They were outnumbered.
Surrounded.
Ready.

This is the last one, I swear.
I've been slowly throwing this one together exclusively for 'Dangerous Curves'. I also wanted to do something a little more cinematic, and this setup naturally lent itself to a 2.35 aspect ratio.
I hope you enjoy.

I really like how you use lighting and your compositions in all your work. I think it's great work. Good luck! How do you make the wireframe look like that in Daz, or do you use other software?

Tue, Feb 17Thanks!
To get the wireframe and/or any other viewport render to match your image settings, there is an option to render based on your viewport vs. iRay. It's up in the top left-hand corner of the render pane. By default it's usually set to iRay. It's handy!
