The Envoy
3D Render by LykantosHe knew from stories that the elves had a different understanding of shame.
Diplomats especially.
For elves, any advantage they could use to their benefit was a legitimate means.
He thought he had prepared well for all eventualities. But when the envoy entered his room, he knew from the very first moment that he was fighting a losing battle.

Haha, I surprised myself with another entry in the competition. Way too late to really participate, but this competition sparked something in me. I tried to approach it differently, not by displaying violence, but in a more subtle way.
For many, this will seem like an excuse to post pictures, but I've always liked subtlety, even if sometimes the brutally simple has its effect. I've seen some pictures in the competition here that really impressed me.
And it doesn't matter whether your entries got many or few likes. Don't judge yourself by that. I often discover good pictures months, sometimes even years later, and some pictures that deeply impressed me often have shockingly few comments or likes. Initially, I was also completely fixated on reactions and likes. Over the years, you become a bit more relaxed. Even the best among us get little feedback. That's why I'm all the more pleased when one of these people mentions a word of praise or gives tips on how I can improve.
You're doing something here that you enjoy. Have fun, motivate others, and learn from their contributions how you can improve. If you like something about an image, try to copy it.
Okay, enough rambling in my terrible English. Good luck to everyone in the competition, and have fun rendering!
