3D Render by RenderStar_6980Some people have been asking me how I get my renders to look so real. It comes down to a few things.
1. Get your lighting and camera settings right. You need to think like a photographer. What makes your subject interesting, try to get them to stand out.
2. Quality models and sets. This should be obvious.
3. Post editing to achieve more of the look you want. For me, I mostly just like extra sharpness In my renders. It's a process, along with number 1 . Just fiddle around a lot. Your eye will see what looks better.
4. GPU...sorry but in order to get a realistic render in a reasonable time you will need a strong gpu.....fact. The render above took 50 minutes for a 5090.
In the Renders above there is the raw render (Bottom) and then the one after post edit (top). The sharpness on the post edit is quite high, but I prefer that to an over soft look in most cases. The lighting here wasn't the best. I got lazy and used the on camera lighting which is a no no. Try your best not to use it. The image just comes out looking flat.
