Tie Bomber-057-B2B 3D Model
TIE BOMBER
The Empire used flights of TIE bombers to drop vast quantities of munitions on rebellious planets and targets in space, delivering devastating attacks with frightening accuracy.
The TIE bomber, simply known as the TIE bomber or T/B, was a larger, less maneuverable TIE starfighter used for destroying large starships and pinpoint-precision bombing. The "sa" in the TIE bomber's designation stood for "surface assault."
Due to their distinctive dual-hull shape, TIE bombers came to be referred to occasionally as "dupes" or (albeit indirectly) "sitting ducks" by enemy pilots. The latter nickname was due to its bulky structure making it much slower and far less maneuverable than other TIE craft.
BOILER PLATE
DESIGN:
This Bomber version is my own design and as such, I'm charging for it.
This Bomber includes no cockpit but was designed to work with the cockpit in the free version so you can use the cockpit from the free version if you need one.
This version was re-designed and includes missing and new equipment not in the free version.
This version also includes over 70 different materials so that you can customize it to your needs.
There are no UV's in this version so if you need them you can add them via the obj file as desired.
This model is highly detailed including some "hanger maintenance" details behind panels that are planned to operate in future versions.
It was rendered in Daz Studios and as such is guaranteed only in Daz or poser rendering systems.
I tied to make it work as closely as I could with a more or less, realistic physics vessel but it could still use some adjustments in its engineering.
ADDITIONAL FORMATS:
There is an obj format supplied for you to customize as you desire.
This model comes only with materials and no UV's or textures.
What you see in the renderings is just that, the only "pizzazz being the emission controls built into the parts.
UPDATES:
There will be one more version of this model available for sale later next month, on this site that will include what you currently see in this model but also include various operable hatches, equipment doors and service panels for hanger deck rendering.
I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
REVIEWS:
Please be kind enough after downloading it, to add a review of the model so I can correct what needs correcting. Also, any and all suggestions are welcome so that I can continue to improve on it.
USES:
Please follow the guidelines of the licensing and as always, please add a link to your finished work.
I'd love to see how you use it!
(This model is also available for purchase via Ethereum wallet exchange for 1.10 Eth.)
