THE POLY COUNT IS FOR THE SCALP EMITTER NOT THE HAIR ITSELF. IF CONVERTED TO MESH THE HAIR WOULD BE VERY HIGH POLY.
Download File includes scalp emitter object and the emitter objects emitting the individual strands. Which have been parented to the 'Scalp' emitter. There is a total of 56 twisted stranded.
The model is made in Blender and only available for blender as a blender file.
