When you're driving this rover, no one will argue with you about who has the right of way.
Rover, Vajrablue, Galactic Horizons, V6, DS
Note: If I revise this model and re-issue it, I will increment all instances of the “V6to “V7and so on.
The V6 release fixes a bad path call to a UV set.
Much thanks to MacSomme on RenderHub for testing the fix.
BACKGROUND
This rover is designed by Vajrablue.
The original mesh is by Vajrablue with CC-BY license (credit Vajrablue when publishing).
Vajrablue gave me permission to offer my Daz Studio adaptation for free.
Moving parts:
* Doors open.
* Door-mounted ladders move down/up.
* Airlock control levers move down/up.
* Wheels roll.
* Wheels can move a little bit up and down to simulate suspension.
* Wheels can steer.
(The steering approximates Lankensperger / Ackermann steering angle relations of real cars.)
* Seats slide, swivel and tilt.
* Consoles tilt up and down.
* Joysticks wiggle.
* Directional antenna spins.
Many of these moving parts are best actuated using the control properties I made for them in the
"Parameters" tab of the rover as a whole.
They are:
Steer
Hull
Roll -- could make animating it easier.
Door, Right
Door, Left
Door, Inner Cabin
But the door ladders, seats, consoles, joysticks, airlock levers, and heights of the wheels
are best moved by the property controls of these individual parts.
